Classic Pyramid Solitaire
An evenly stacked card pyramid sets the table for number matching. In Classic Pyramid Solitaire, a full 52-card deck creates a quiet solitaire puzzle with 28 cards laid out in the pyramid and the rest resting in a stock pile at the upper left. Card values drive every move. Pairs leave the layout only when their total reaches 13, pushing the usual arithmetic mix of 3 with 10, 4 with 9, 5 with 8, 6 with 7, Jack with 2, and Ace with Queen. The King leaves by itself because it already equals 13. No timer interrupts the round. Plenty of time sits on the table for planning the next removal.
How to play?
Remove exposed pairs that add up to 13. Lift a King off the layout on its own. Only uncovered cards are available for removal, since covered ones stay blocked under the pyramid. Draw from the stock pile whenever the visible layout stalls. Each pass through that pile uses one move. The stack may be cycled through again and again until a workable card appears.
