Carpet Solitaire Simple

A spread of four rows stretches across the table, leaving forty spots to sort through before the carpet disappears. In Carpet Solitaire Simple, the playfield begins with a 36-card deck laid out across that grid, and the whole layout only settles once the four aces take their proper cells. After that setup, the table becomes a suit-building puzzle with cards sliding sideways across the row as the order grows from low ranks toward high ones.

How to play?

Place all four aces into the first cells, then build each suit from left to right in rank order through 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, and King. Move cards in either direction when a gap appears, place each King at the far right side of the row, and shift sixes to the left side early because that position prevents blocked moves later. Empty spaces need spacing as well, since two neighboring gaps cut off useful transfers across the carpet. Remove every card from the layout to finish the round, then see how fast the whole spread disappears.
