Carpet Solitaire: Gaps

Ten minutes sit on the clock. In Carpet Solitaire: Gaps, the table fills with a timed card puzzle that pays for each legal move and cashes leftover seconds into bonus points after the round. Ordered runs matter here, with every suit line built from 2 through King and red-black color alternation shaping the layout. Three shuffles cover the whole deal. Late use works best after the table runs dry.

How to play?

Slide a card from the left side of a gap into the empty space when it fits the sequence. Build upward from a deuce, placing the next rank in alternating color until the row reaches a king. Points add up on every move. Save the three table shuffles for dead ends, then map out several placements ahead to raise your chance of finishing before time expires.
