NES Game: Rod Land

Monsters have taken a mother away. In the NES Game: Rod Land, two sisters head out after her through a magical world packed with strange creatures. Their trip grows dangerous fast. The pair still pushes forward, chasing the kidnappers through screen-by-screen stages and searching for the flowers that mark each area as complete.

How to play?

Flowers decide progress here. Pick up every bloom on the screen to move on. A magic rod stops enemies for a brief moment. Close the distance during that pause and finish them before they recover. Logic helps as much as movement, since creatures surround the sisters and leave little room to pause.
