Charleston is in ruins after a mass capture wipes out the Avengers. Captain America remains on the streets alone, pushing through the city's chaos in the NES Game: Captain America And The Avengers. His shield defines every clash. Throw it down a lane, and it curves back into his hand like a boomerang. Strength from the experiment behind the hero stays part of the fight from the first moments. Captured teammates don't stay gone forever. Once the first ally is freed, backup joins the battle, and the hunt for the main villain moves forward.

How to play?

Throw the shield at enemies across the area and catch its return path through each encounter. Move across the map to reach enemy-filled sections of Charleston. Captain America's enhanced power backs up close-range attacks during fights. Free the first Avengers held by the enemy. Team support appears after the rescue and adds more force against the villain at the end.
