This NES sports game uses American football, not soccer, with one side trying to push the ball carrier down before he gains more yardage. A bad hit drops the runner hard. Team choice comes before the first matchup, and a place near the top of the standings asks for solid group play.

How to play?

Pick your team, then line up for the opening kick. Stop the power meter at the right point to send the ball well. Less power is needed once the drive reaches the opponent's end zone. Move the carrier upfield with the ball in hand, and avoid the defenders closing in from the other side.
