Minesweeper Remake Game

The game "Minesweeper Remake" is a modern remake of the original game about sappers with simple graphics. This game uses a 9 by 14 grid, for a total of 126 squares. Each game has about 25 bombs (give or take 2), giving each square about a 20% chance of getting a bomb. The bomb count is displayed in the top right corner. As you place flags, the number of bombs decreases, assuming each flag you place is correct. If you put a flag in the wrong place, you can remove it later. The game is timed, with a timer displayed at the top of the screen.

How to play?

At the beginning of the game, you click on cells to see if there are bombs in them and open up part of the playing field. To some extent, it starts out as a game of luck until you open part of the playing field. If there are no numbers on the uncovered square, you can clear the 8 surrounding squares and repeat the process until there are numbers on the faces of the uncovered squares. After you open the playing field, you can use the numbers displayed on the faces of the spots to perform an elimination process to find out where the bombs are likely to be. If there are no numbers on the light gray field, that means there are no bombs nearby, and you can reveal each square touching it. If you look at several sets of numbers in close proximity, they can help you create a matrix to determine where you are sure there is a bomb and where there is not. Mark the cells where there is a bomb and remove the cells where there is not. In some cases, you have to guess to make progress. In general, it's best to guess where you have a high probability of success. For example, if you know that 3 out of 4 squares have a bomb, trying to guess which one doesn't work is a big risk as you have a 75% chance of failing, but if you know that 1 out of 5 positions is a bomb, you only have a 20% chance of failing.

Game control

Click randomly to open squares where (hopefully) there is no bomb. After opening part of the playing field, use the numbers shown on some squares to figure out where the bombs are. Click the checkbox button, and then click the squares to check the boxes where you think there is a bomb. Uncheck the box to remove the other squares. There is a reload button in the upper left corner.
