Horror Granny

You start flat on your back in a hallway with flickering lights overhead. Doors hang half-open. The only sound is a pipe somewhere clicking on and off—then quick, squeaky steps from Granny a few rooms away. In Horror Granny, you’re not a hero. You’re just someone unlucky enough to wake up in her maze, where rust marks the floor and the rooms smell old and sharp, like metal. Most spots are blocked with piles of broken chairs or toppled filing cabinets, so you’ll have to edge around or crawl under desks if she’s nearby. Sometimes there’s a loud bang when you bump a can, and if you hear her cane tapping—it’s time to hide fast.

How to play?

You spend most of Horror Granny sneaking. The controls feel tight—every step seems like it matters, especially when someone’s dragging a chain two doors over. Peek around corners before crossing a hall, since Granny moves pretty quick once she spots movement. Hiding means slipping into storage rooms or ducking under busted beds, but she checks some hiding places, so staying too long in one spot never feels safe. You’ll run for your life if she catches a glimpse—sometimes you get away by turning down a side hall or slamming a door behind you, though she’s strong enough to knock it open after a second or two. The only real goal is to find the exit key and get the front door unbolted. It’s not always there—sometimes you’ll need to check a cramped bathroom or behind a cabinet. Most escapes end fast if you get careless. Oh, and Granny grumbles if you drop anything loud—pretty unsettling, honestly.
