Granny - Prison Escape

You wake up hanging upside down in some dim prison cell, arms roped and head wrapped in scratchy cloth. There's a rattling sound nearby—maybe a padlock or pipes. This is how "Granny - Prison Escape" drops you, mid-situation, no time for good mornings. The whole room smells cold, and you can just make out broken tiles under you. Granny's close. Everybody's heard what happens to anyone who gets caught twice. She never lets go after that.

How to play?

You start off by rocking yourself on that hook, just enough force to shake loose. Granny's footsteps echo from the next hall; you move quick, flipping yourself free. Now there's a body slumped across the old couch—wasn't sure what to do the first time, but you're supposed to drape that old sack over it, tuck the corpse up where you were, and slot the burlap back in place. In "Granny - Prison Escape," if you rush even a second, she hears doors creak, loose chains clatter. You poke around, shoving crates aside, checking inside drain covers, and pressing panels that don't quite fit. Sometimes a key is taped behind a broken painting; sometimes you find a metal bar jammed into the floorboard. Stuff stashes in your pocket or belt, then slide anything you moved back so nothing's out of order. Miss a hiding spot and Granny's alert. Hide in a locker, or duck behind furniture till the footsteps fade. Next thing you know, the exit's right there, but one last lock stops you. Not gonna lie, I nearly dropped the crowbar at the end—my hands just slipped. Doesn't matter if you look silly. Escaping just feels better when you finally kick that last door open.
