In the game “Prospector Stanley,” the main character heads to the Wild West in hopes of striking it rich. For Stanley, gold isn’t just a way to make money—it’s his whole reason for living—and no matter how much he has, it’s never enough. He starts with a single gold nugget and his bare hands, but gradually acquires helpers and machinery. The game features 9 different mining methods, and the more expensive each one is, the more gold it yields per second. You can expand the mine, and as Stanley grows richer, he changes as well, so his success is literally visible to the naked eye.

How to play?

Click on the gold nugget to mine gold. While you’re short on money, you’ll have to do the work yourself. As soon as you’ve saved up enough, hire your first miner, but keep clicking yourself—it’ll speed things up. The store sells workers and various technologies. Items are listed across several pages; scroll through them using the up and down arrows. Place the workers and equipment you’ve purchased at the cave entrances. To make the mine run on its own without you having to click, try to fill all the entrances—it doesn’t matter if they’re staffed by people or machines. When you have enough gold, a green plus sign will appear on the game screen. Click it, and the mine will expand, which means your output will increase.
