Runaway Toad

Runaway Toad is an arcade game about a toad that escaped from the castle of a desperate bride. The princess wanted to get married so badly that she caught all the toads in the swamp and methodically kissed each one in the hope that at least one would turn into a handsome prince. One of the captives got tired of this, and when she came to kiss him again, he broke free and jumped out the window. Now the hero jumps across the river on stones, collecting flying creatures along the way.

How to play

Control the frog, jumping between the stones in the river. The goal is to get as far away from the princess's castle as possible. Along the way, catch flying insects with your tongue by swiping in the right direction. Not only do they add to your score, but some also give you temporary abilities. A fly can summon a hippopotamus. It will appear nearby as a one-time safety net—if you miss a rock and fall, the hippopotamus will surface and throw you back up. Fell into the river without any bonuses? The owl will immediately pick you up and drag you back to the princess - that's a defeat. The butterfly gives you wings for a few seconds, allowing you to fly over particularly wide gaps without risk. Keep an eye on the distance from the castle. The first few meters of the road are relatively calm, with stones close to each other. Then there are large gaps, moving platforms, and the princess's airship trying to catch you. Rack up mileage to unlock new characters with improved jumps or longer tongues.
