Runaway Toad

Runaway Toad is an arcade game about a toad that escaped from the castle of a desperate bride. The princess wanted to get married so badly that she caught all the toads in the swamp and kissed them one by one, hoping at least one would turn into a handsome prince. One of the captives got tired of it, and when she came to kiss him again, he broke free and jumped out the window. Now this runaway toad is jumping across a river on stones and grabbing flying creatures along the way. Your goal is to get as far from the princess's castle as possible.

How to play?

Control the frog and jump between the stones in the river, watching the distance from the castle. The first stretch is fairly calm, with stones close to each other. Later, you will see bigger gaps, moving platforms, and even the princess's airship trying to catch you. Along the way, swipe in the right direction to catch flying insects with your tongue. They add to your score, and some give you temporary abilities. A fly can summon a hippopotamus that appears nearby as a one-time safety net. If you miss a rock and fall, the hippo surfaces and tosses you back up. If you fall into the river with no bonuses left, an owl immediately grabs you and carries you back to the princess, which counts as a defeat.

The butterfly gives you wings for a few seconds so you can safely fly over especially wide gaps. Keep racking up distance to unlock new characters with stronger jumps or longer tongues, and keep the escape going in this frog arcade game, Runaway Toad.
