Frog Race
Frog Race is a competitive arcade game about bored amphibians who decided to hold a tournament in the forest. They built a special obstacle course and divided it into two parallel lanes for fair competition. They installed a traffic light with a timer—everything is serious, as it should be in real races. Before the start, choose the left or right lane, then wait for the countdown. The controls are unusual—the power of each jump is adjusted manually using the scale in the lower right corner. The first press selects the power, the second launches the jump with the selected power. Scattered along the track are harmful things like logs, stones, and oil puddles, which knock you off your feet and slow down your hero, giving your opponent a head start.
How to play?
After selecting a lane, wait for the red traffic light signal. As soon as the timer reaches zero, press the space bar to start. A moving scale appears at the bottom right showing the current jump power. It constantly fluctuates between the minimum and maximum. Press the button when the indicator is at the desired power level. This will lock in the power. Immediately after that, press a second time to make a jump with the set distance. Short jumps are safer but slower, long jumps are faster but riskier - it's easy to fly too far. Keep an eye on the track ahead. See a log or a rock? Calculate your jump to fly over them or land between the obstacles. Oil puddles are especially treacherous—once you land in one, you won't be able to get out for a while. Grab bottles for temporary acceleration and jump on trampolines—they'll launch you far ahead in one go. Be the first to cross the finish line on all thirty tracks and prove that you are the champion of this forest.
