Frog Road

Frog Road is a classic Frogger-style arcade game where you help a frog lost in the city. The poor thing needs to get to safety on the other side of the street, but between it and salvation is a busy road with trucks and cars. The game is built on levels of increasing difficulty. At first, the road to safety is short, and there are few cars. With each new level, the distance increases, the traffic becomes denser, and the safe gaps between vehicles become fewer. The frog can jump forward and sideways, but it cannot take a step backward. This adds tension—if you choose the wrong lane, you will have to look for a way out only ahead. If you catch the rhythm of the cars' movement, you will realize that everything is not as scary as it seems at first.

How to play

Control the frog with the arrow keys. Jump between lanes, choosing the moment when you can safely cross. Keep an eye on the speed of traffic in each lane—some cars crawl slowly, while others race at high speeds. Don't stand in one place in the middle of the road for too long. Assess the distance to the next safe zone and the movement of cars, then make your move. Remember that there is no turning back—once you choose a direction, go all the way. Got hit by a truck? The level starts over. Made it to the shelter on the other side? Great, move on to the next stage with a longer road and heavier traffic.
