Froggee

Froggee is an arcade jumping game about a frog with a very unusual hobby. This little green croaker has picked up space gymnastics, hopping from planet to planet as high as he can. Why does he need it? Nobody knows. Maybe he is training, maybe he just likes it. But one thing is clear: the hero wants to climb as high as possible into space, and nothing is going to stop him. The universe is strange here. The planets hang one above another in a chain, each one spinning on its axis. Froggee sits on the bottom planet and gets ready to jump. Your job is to jump higher and higher, leaping from one spinning planet to the next.

How to play?

Froggee starts out on the first planet at the bottom of the screen. The planet spins, and the frog moves in a circle with it. Somewhere above is the next planet, and you need to jump to it. Watch the rotation. Wait for the moment when the hero lines up with the next planet, when the distance between them is the smallest. At that moment, press the button and Froggee will push off and fly upward. If you time it right, he will land right on the planet above.

But pay attention to where you land. Some planets have crocodiles on them, green toothy predators waiting for an unlucky frog. If you jump straight onto a crocodile, it will eat your hero in a second and the run will end. Aim for an empty spot, away from the jaws. If you miss and do not land on any planet, your hero will fall, and the game will be over.

There is another option: you can stick to the side wall of a planet. It sounds like a save, but there are problems. The walls slide downward like an elevator. If you hang on too long, you will move so far down that you go off the bottom of the screen and lose. On top of that, sharp spikes stick out from the side walls. If you grab on right where the spikes are, you will get hurt and fall. So you also need to catch a safe section of the wall.

Different items are scattered along the way. Gold stars give you points, sometimes just one or two, and sometimes a whole ring around the planet. You can roll the frog around the full circle, picking up a chain of stars. There are also flies, the frog's favorite snack, and you get extra points for them. The most useful find is bubbles. Jump into one and it will lift you high up, skipping several planets at once. Your goal is to beat your own height record. How far can you climb this time? Will you get higher than you did before?
