Frog Corral

Frog Corral is a relaxing puzzle game about getting frogs back to their home in the water. The frogs have scattered all over the land, and now you need to gather them up and bring them back to the pond. The game has ten levels, which feels a bit short for such a fun puzzle idea. As you go, you run into different elements, like locked gates that have to be opened, snails that push everything in their path, frog songs, and even a missing tadpole. The big twist is that frogs can stack on top of each other like a tower. It looks funny, but it is also a key part of solving some puzzles.

How to play?

The first stages are very simple so you can get used to the controls, but then new tricks appear. Move the circle over a frog and it will light up. Hold the mouse button and drag in the direction you want to go. The frog will jump after the cursor. You can group several frogs together and lead the whole crowd to the goal at the same time. On the right side of the screen there is a meter that shows how many frogs you have already saved and how many are left, so you can see how much work remains.

There are numbered squares in some levels, and these act as gate buttons. The number shows how many small frogs you need to place there to activate the gate. One big frog counts as several small ones, so a single large frog is enough. An important detail, as soon as a frog leaves the square, the gate closes again. You have to think carefully about how to get everyone through, maybe leaving one frog on the button or using snails.

You can move snails with the frogs. Push a snail with a frog and park it on a numbered square instead of using frogs there. This frees up characters for other tasks and helps in puzzles where you do not have enough frogs for all the buttons at once. On some levels, the goal is not to bring them to the water, but just to get them out of the pen and stack them in a certain spot. When all the frogs are in the pond, the next level with new tasks unlocks. After you finish the main levels, a bonus level becomes available.
