Frogs vs. Storks

Frogs vs. Storks is a puzzle game about eternal enemies who find themselves in the same territory. Storks pose the greatest danger to amphibians because they simply love to eat them. The heroes wander among the water lilies in search of food, each hunting their own prey: the frog hunts flies, and the stork hunts the frog. The main feature of the mechanics is synchronous movement in opposite directions. When you step to the right, the stork also takes a step, but in the opposite direction. This turns each move into a chess game. The game is divided into five sections with a total of forty levels of increasing difficulty. The ultimate goal is to reach the yellow leaf safe and sound, collecting all the flies on the pond along the way. Points are awarded for insects and flowers eaten, but if the stork gets there first and eats them, the points will be deducted from your score. Stork eggs scattered across the water lilies give bonus points.

How to play?

Move between the water lilies, collecting flies, butterflies, and flowers to score points. Remember that the stork mirrors your actions—if you take a step to the left, it will step to the right. Use this to manipulate its position. Beware of torn water lily leaves. If you step on one, you will be teleported back to the starting position. The same will happen to the stork if it lands on a torn leaf. You can lure the predator onto bad water lilies to knock it back and buy yourself some time. Critically important: do not stand on the same water lily as the stork at the same time. This will result in instant death, the beak will snap shut, and you will fail the level. Always keep a distance of at least one water lily. Grab the eggs when you see them - they bring in solid points. In the later stages, control becomes more complicated with the appearance of a second frog. You need to switch between them. The task is to bring each one to its own yellow leaf while avoiding storks and coordinating movements so that both survive.
