Frogster 2

Frogster 2 is an action platformer where a nimble frog explores a huge underground world. Unlike the first game, you get a non-linear level layout, lots of secret rooms, and branching routes to dig into. Armed with a sword, the frog fights through dark caves filled with hostile creatures. The game combines exploring dungeon corridors, collecting coins and keys from chests, opening locked doors with star tokens, and trading with strangers you meet in the depths. Your main goal is to reach the boss and defeat him in battle.

How to play?

Control the frog with the keyboard and move through the branching dungeon areas. Attack enemies with your sword, staying at a safe distance or moving in close for quick hits. Take out enemies not only to clear the way, but also hoping they drop food or other supplies. Pick up coins you find and smash chests to grab keys. Keys unlock new parts of the map. Some doors only open with stars, a rare resource hidden in certain chests.

If you meet a stranger, talk to them, they might sell useful items for the coins you have saved up. Watch out for spikes on walls and ceilings, and time your jumps so you do not land on them. Chasms are deadly too, if you miss a platform, you will fall. Your health bar is always on-screen, so keep an eye on it and do not let it hit zero. If you find a campfire, sit down next to it to fully restore your health, and your progress will be saved there. Explore every corner of the dungeon and work your way to the final boss.
