Hungry Frog
Hungry Frog is a dynamic arcade game about a fearless frog with an excellent appetite. Everyone knows that frogs just love flies. It's their favorite food, their number one delicacy. Our heroine is one such gourmet - she sees a fly and immediately starts drooling. But you can't just catch flies like that. They scatter to different corners of the locations, hide behind obstacles, and some even fly around and don't stay in one place. You'll have to use all your wits and accuracy. The frog has a secret weapon—a sticky tongue. It shoots it out like a harpoon, and the fly sticks to it and is pulled right into its mouth. Yum-yum, delicious! But it's not just a matter of shooting. The tongue can ricochet off walls, bouncing at an angle further away.
How to play?
The frog stands on a platform somewhere on the level. Your job is to aim the tongue and shoot so that you catch all the flies. Aim with the mouse, and a line appears from the frog to the cursor. You can see where the tongue will fly if you shoot now. Move the mouse, and the line follows it. Find a good angle, press the button, and the tongue flies. Did you hit the fly? Great, it sticks to the tongue and is pulled into the mouth. One down, find the next one. Missed? The tongue flies out, catches nothing, and returns. Aim again. The trick is that the tongue bounces off the walls. See a fly around the corner, but can't shoot it directly? Shoot at the wall at an angle so that the tongue ricochets and flies further towards the target. You can do double and triple ricochets. The tongue bounces off the first wall, then the second, then the third, and only then reaches the fly in the most secluded place. It's beautiful when you get a complex trajectory. There are boxes of dynamite on the levels. Hit the box with your tongue and it explodes. The explosion can destroy the blocks around it, opening up access to the flies behind them. Or it can knock away something heavy that was blocking the way. The blocks move if you pull them with your tongue. Hook your tongue on a block, and it will move. Sometimes you need to move an obstacle to open a passage for a direct shot at a fly. Some flies do not stand still but fly along a certain trajectory. You need to shoot not where the fly is now, but where it will be in a second. Act ahead of the game, like a sniper shooting at a moving target. Complete all thirty-one levels, hone your accuracy, learn to calculate complex trajectories, and feed the insatiable frog to your heart's content! Claude is AI and can make mistakes.
