Village Fishing
Morning settles over the village lake. The slow routine in Village Fishing begins on a wooden pier beside a small settlement. A rowboat waits at the dock, and the lake stretches out past the houses and reeds. Fish from the open water, bring your haul back to shore, and trade it by weight for cash. The money goes into better gear and more room for what you catch. Later trips can include fresh bait, a stronger rod, a sailboat, or even a local helper who takes a share of the work.
How to play?
Steer the boat away from the pier until the red signpost points toward a fishing spot. Seagulls circling overhead mark schools moving under the surface. Cast your line and wait for the bite before you snap the hook. When the fish pulls sideways, jerk in that direction or repeated mistakes will shake it loose. Heavy fish sell for more once you unload them at the dock. At the merchant, spend your earnings on larger storage, fresh bait, stronger tackle, or help from a villager.
