Grandpa's Fishing Boat

Grandpa's Fishing Boat is a 2D fishing game in which an elderly fisherman sets out on the water with his cat and trusty gear. Grandpa wants to catch fish for dinner and to sell at the market, but the underwater world is full of surprises—both pleasant and dangerous. All fish are divided into three types: small, medium, and large—the bigger the catch, the more money it brings in. In addition to fish, you’ll find treasure chests underwater that grant extra rewards. The game’s main feature is bait. You can’t fish without it, and it runs out faster than you’d think. You buy bait at the fishing tackle shop with the coins you’ve earned. The main dangers are sharks and jellyfish: sharks eat the fish right off the hook as you reel it in, and jellyfish shock Grandpa and take his money. Fish that are too large simply won’t fit on the hook. The game’s difficulty increases as the number of sea creatures grows.

How to play?

Click the left mouse button to cast the hook—it flies in a straight line and starts reeling in as soon as it hits something solid. Watch the cast’s trajectory and target large, slow-moving fish, casting the hook ahead of them. Avoid sharks and jellyfish: the former will eat your catch, while the latter will hit your wallet. Sell your fish, restock your bait at the store, and catch treasure chests. Help Grandpa become the richest fisherman and catch enough fish for a hearty dinner.
