Big Fishing: Pursuit of a Trophy puts you on the water in 30 real-world locations across several countries, including the Volga, the Amur, Lake Baikal, Lake Sevan, the Amazon, the Nile, the Dnieper, the Danube, the Black Sea, and the Gulf of Panama. Complete tasks, go on quests, build fish collections, earn rewards, and relax with classic fishing gameplay. Use float, drift, feeder, and spinning techniques, fish with one to three rods, and work with over 25 bait types, more than 20 lures, and 50 bait mix ingredients to target over 450 fish species. Unlock over 40 rewards, clear 40 quests, and chase numerous achievements while you experiment with bait mixes to boost catch rates and cut waiting time. Take on daily and weekly tasks, pick up gifts, and claim daily bonuses while you fill your piggy bank. How to play?

Dig up a worm by tapping the shovel in your inventory, then tap "Go Fishing," choose a body of water and a specific spot, and start fishing. Cast your line, wait for a bite, and hook the fish by tapping the reel button. When you fish with several rods, switch between them with the rod buttons. Pick a spinning lure, cast, and reel in your catch. Mix bait to draw fish to your chosen point and aim for record sizes. While you fish, stay alert and tap butterflies, birds, animals, ships, airplanes, and hot air balloons to progress quests, and pull up debris from different waters to finish special tasks. Upgrade rods and gear to fight big fish more easily, cast farther, and cut down on lost catches. Play with a mouse on a computer or with touchscreen controls and on-screen buttons on a tablet or phone. Catch fish, sell them at the market, earn money to buy better gear, unlock every achievement and medal, set new records, and push your player stats as high as you can.
