Hook and Fish

You stand on the shore with a harpoon in your hands. Fish are swimming underwater, both big and small. In the arcade game Hook and Fish, you throw your harpoon, catch fish, and earn points. Aim, line up a fish, then release and watch the harpoon fly into the water. If you hit it, the fish is caught.

The locations change as you play. First, you start in a sunny lagoon with clear water. Then you move to a foggy bay where it is harder to see. After that comes the deep sea with larger fish. The graphics are bright and cartoony, with animated water. Fish glide smoothly by and the seaweed gently sways. There is no rush, just simple, relaxed fishing in this casual fishing game.

How to play?

In Hook and Fish, you control the harpoon with your mouse or your finger. See a fish underwater? Move the cursor, or slide your finger, to where it is swimming. Hold down the mouse button or press your finger on the screen to get the harpoon ready. When you release, the harpoon flies straight down into the water and can pierce the fish.

You can only catch fish that match your level. If you hit a fish that is a higher level than you, you lose. With each throw, your level increases, and you can catch more types of fish. Small fish are quick and nimble, so they are harder to hit. Large fish move slowly but give you more points. Aim carefully, because the harpoon flies in a straight line right where you send it. Missed your shot? The harpoon returns so you can throw again.

You earn coins for every fish you catch. Save them up to unlock new character skins. Change how the fisherman looks with different clothes, hats, and accessories. These are only cosmetic; they do not affect the gameplay, but they add some visual variety as you play.
