Cubic Fishing: The Path to the Trophy
Square waves gently lap against the sandy shore, and dozens of diverse aquatic creatures swim in the crystal-clear cubic water. In “Cubic Fishing: The Path to the Trophy,” you can feel like a true professional angler and embark on a thrilling first-person fishing adventure. Your adventure begins in a quiet, azure cove teeming with common bream, sardines, and mackerel. Successful catches yield gold coins and experience points, helping you build a unique collection of common, rare, epic, and legendary fish species. The resources you accumulate will allow you to leave the starting location behind and move on to deeper, more fish-rich spots: a rushing river in the jungle, the open ocean, icy fjords, or sunset reefs.
How to Play?
If you enjoy spending long hours on the shore having fun fishing, this blocky simulator will require excellent reflexes and patience. First, choose a direction, calculate your cast strength, and cast your line into the water, following the built-in prompts. Keep a close eye on the float, and at the very first bite, instantly press the set hook button so the catch doesn’t get away and you can land your trophy. Fishing requires the utmost caution, since your very first fishing rod is just a fragile twig. Keep the line taut, but loosen your grip in time when the on-screen indicator approaches the dangerous red zone—otherwise, the thin line will snap instantly. After successful fishing trips, stop by the local tackle shop to say goodbye to fragile wooden rods for good. Spend the coins you’ve earned on sturdy bamboo, carbon fiber, and steel rods, and choose from a variety of tempting baits, including shrimp, fireflies, and royal bait. Venture into dangerous deep-water levels to catch toothy piranhas, giant arapaimas, sailfish, and even massive ocean sharks—each of which will put up a fierce fight to the very end.
