Mutant Fishing

The game "Fishing in Chernobyl" is a dark fishing simulator set in the Exclusion Zone on the Pripyat River. Radiation has transformed the underwater world beyond recognition: it is home not only to ordinary rudd, roach, and crucian carp, but also to mutant fish with huge holes in their bodies, protruding bones, and features of other animals. The deeper you cast your line, the more terrifying and rare creatures you’ll encounter. There are 3 locations in the game: Utopets, Pripyat, and Ustye—each with its own set of inhabitants and the atmosphere of an abandoned radioactive wasteland. You can view all the fish you’ve caught in your collection, and you’ll receive a reward for every new species. As you play, you’ll level up two main stats: casting distance and the number of fish you can reel in per cast. Additionally, you can upgrade the fisherman himself using coins, increasing the chance of mutants appearing on your hook. The goal of the game is to unlock all three locations and catch every inhabitant of these radioactive waters.

How to play?

Tap the center of the screen to cast your line, then hold and drag in the desired direction to control the hook underwater. Go deeper—rarer and more exotic mutants are found there. When a fish is on the hook, it will start to struggle: quickly tap the screen to subdue it and pull it to the surface. Invest the coins you earn into upgrading your stats and improving your fisherman. Expand your collection with new species, earn rewards for them, and gradually unlock all three locations. Explore every corner of the contaminated river and catch all the creatures spawned by the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
