Fishing Trouble

The game "Fishing Trouble" is an unusual arcade game with a gripping storyline: you owe money to a very dangerous mobster, and the only way to pay him back is to catch fish. The game progresses day by day, and every day you must try to dive deeper and earn more, or else the mobster will lose his patience. If you don’t pay him back in time, you’ll face a rare game over screen that few players have ever seen. In the shop, you can buy upgraded gear with the coins you’ve earned: a long line, an aluminum rod, a bronze hook, a magnet, and even a hook gun. The game’s unique twist comes from the post-catch mechanic—when the timer runs out, you literally have to punch the caught fish with your fists to knock the money out of it. Hidden at the very bottom is a legendary big fish that yields 27,000 coins, but only true masters can reach it.

How to play?

At the start of the game, you’re asked to choose one of two modes: either fishing with a 30-day timer, or simply relaxing fishing. You play as a fisherman in a boat and cast your line with a hook into the water. Control the line and hook using the arrow keys, dodge obstacles on the way down, and hook the fish on the way up. Press W or the up arrow to charge and power up your cast. Sell all the fish you catch for coins and buy new, upgraded gear in the shop. Try to dive deeper and earn more every day, pay off your debt to the mafia, and aim to catch the legendary fish at the very bottom.
