Fishing Trouble

Debt hangs over every trip in Fishing Trouble. This fishing arcade game gives you one way to pay back a dangerous mobster: haul fish out of the water, sell them, and come back with more money each day. Miss the deadline, and you'll get a game-over screen most players never see. Between runs, the shop lets you upgrade your setup with a longer line, an aluminum rod, a bronze hook, a magnet, and even a hook gun. Then there's the strangest part. Once the timer runs out, you beat the fish with your fists to knock the cash out. Far below the surface, a legendary giant fish waits with a 27,000-coin payout.

How to play?

Pick one of two modes: a 30-day debt run or a relaxed fishing session. From your boat, drop the hook into the water and steer it with the arrow keys. Avoid obstacles on the way down, then snag fish as you reel back up. Press W or the Up Arrow to charge your cast and send the line deeper. Sell your catch, buy upgrades, and reach lower depths before the mob runs out of patience.
