Novice Fisherman

Novice Fisherman is a timed arcade game where you control an inexperienced fisherman named Tom, who is just learning to fish on a lake. The boat moves slowly, and he doesn’t have many skills yet, but that’s exactly what makes it so fun—with each new attempt, you train Tom and strive to set the highest score record. Schools of fish swim underwater, but sharks are also lurking, ensuring you won’t get bored. When time runs out, the game ends and displays the final score—that’s your record. You’ll find bonuses in the water: worms, chests, extra time, and mines. You can drop mines on schools of fish, blowing up several at once and scoring a lot of points in a single go. Neutralize the sharks with bombs, or they’ll get in the way of your fishing.

How to play?

Steer the boat using the left and right arrow keys. Press the down arrow or click the mouse to cast your line. Hook a fish and reel it in to pull it into the boat. Watch out for sharks and throw bombs at them. Collect bonuses: worms, chests, and extra time, and use mines for a massive catch. Play again and again, level up, improve Tom’s skills, and set new high scores.
