Checkers Legend 2

Across the board, diagonal movement decides every exchange. In Checkers Legend 2, classic draughts face off against adjustable rule sets, with three computer difficulty settings and a local match for two players. Regular pieces advance a single square on the diagonal. A jumped enemy piece leaves the board. Rule options change key details, including backward captures, king range, and whether a capture is required. Hard mode strips away hints and tutorials after the first warm-up rounds. Kings rise from promoted pieces, and each win puts another rival on the losing side.

How to play?

From the menu, pick an AI setting or seat two players at the same board. Move one checker diagonally by one space during a normal move, then jump across an opposing piece on the same line to remove it. When promotion rules apply, reach the far side to crown that piece as a king. Under custom settings, kings may travel farther than one square, backward jumps may be legal, and forced captures may decide which move the board accepts.
