Ultimate Chess

A black board changes the usual look of chess. In Ultimate Chess, the match plays out in 3D, with one side trying to corner the opposing king before the same trap closes on its own ranks. A friend can take the second side, or the computer can fill that seat. Several AI settings are available before the first move. Board design options are there, too. Piece color is chosen ahead of the match, shaping the side you command.

How to play?

Move the army by standard chess rules and build attacks that guard your king at the same time. Pawns march first and often decide the final exchange near promotion. Knights jump over occupied squares. The queen strikes across long lines, and the rook holds files and ranks around the king. Checkmate ends the duel. Run practice rounds against artificial intelligence, then switch to one-on-one play against another person.
