Eight Free Cells

A patient card layout sets the pace in Eight Free Cells. Aces belong in the foundation piles, and the table opens up only after those piles gain a few cards. Eight reserve slots change how the layout breathes. Empty spaces don't always help, because fewer parked cards can leave fewer ways to shift a sequence across the tableau. Kings gain extra value when a vacant spot appears, since a new column can grow from that move and neighboring stacks become easier to rearrange. The rules fit new solitaire players who want a stricter layout and more room to think through card order.

How to play?

Move aces out first and build the foundations in suit. Face-up cards rise to those piles automatically when they match the next rank. Use the eight free cells after part of the foundation is already built. Park single cards there to free buried values and shift cards between columns. Drop a king into an empty spot when one appears. Build a fresh column from it, then reorder adjacent runs to uncover the next move.
