True Lies

Washington faces a nuclear threat. In the Sega action shooter True Lies, Harry steps in as the field agent tasked with stopping the terrorists behind the blackmail against the US government, whose demand calls for troop withdrawal from the Persian Gulf. Arnold Schwarzenegger played him in the film, and the game tracks that same storyline through a string of missions that moves from Harry's house to other combat zones, with civilians depending on the operation's success.

How to play?

Move through a long run of stages and fire whenever an enemy comes into view, since hostile soldiers appear throughout each area, and the route doesn't stay safe for long. At the end of every section, a boss blocks the exit and absorbs far more damage than standard foes, forcing sustained gunfire before the path ahead unlocks. Hits from regular enemies can wear Harry down, and fatal damage ends the attempt, so land shots early and avoid standing in open fire.
