NES Game: Double Dragon

Street gangs rule a ruined New York. In the NES Game: Double Dragon, brothers Billy and Jimmy head into the city after a gang snatches Billy's girlfriend, convinced the abduction would stop their attacks on the underworld. Two fighters move against the streets at once. Teaming up with them doubles the push toward the rescue.

How to play?

Strike thugs with punches and kicks as they rush in from all sides. Crowds of enemies pour at you in large groups, and martial arts moves do the main work in each fight. Health runs out under repeated hits. Walk through the area to find food and restore part of the bar. Pick up weapons left in the path. A knife reaches farther than bare hands, and a baton adds extra impact during close-range fights.
