Very Mushroom Alike

The game "Very Mush Alike" tells the story of three different mushrooms, each of whom decides to run away from home at night, tired of the ridicule and misunderstanding of those around them. Ami, a tiny fly agaric with glowing white spots that attract dangerous snails, is tired of being constantly pointed at. Sepi, a giant white mushroom—too big and slow—is afraid of dying alone, since his slowness makes him easy prey for hunters. And Chanti, a clumsy chanterelle with a head that’s always bobbing up and down, is distraught by the mockery of her clumsiness, even though she possesses other unique abilities. The paths of the three fugitives cross just when they need each other most, and together they set off for the mountaintop, where, according to rumors, other mushroom oddballs and loners gather. It’s impossible to get there alone, but as a trio, by combining their different abilities, they have a chance of success. Ami is small, fast, and agile; she can traverse virtually any terrain and can light the way in the dark. Sepi can’t jump high or far, but she’s strong enough to push heavy objects. Chanti, meanwhile, is immune to carnivorous plants and can act like a spring, launching the other two mushrooms high into the air.

How to Play?

Control the three mushrooms in turn, switching between characters with the Tab key, and use the arrow keys or the A and D keys to move through the level. Jump upward and activate Ami’s glow to light the way in the dark. Use each mushroom’s strengths as the situation demands: Ami’s agility and speed for narrow passages, Sepi’s strength to move obstacles, and Chanti’s ability to launch her companions like a spring. Watch out for snails hunting Ami and carnivorous plants that are safe only for Chanti. Work your way through the level as a team, overcoming obstacles together until all three reach the top of the mountain.
