Mushroom Madness
"Mushroom Madness" is an arcade shooter about defending a garden, in which mushroom glades become the target of an entire army of hungry creatures. The player stands guard over the mushroom beds, armed with a whip and a whole arsenal of additional weapons—machine guns, shotguns, bombs, and traps—but ammunition is limited, so you’ll have to use it wisely. The game offers three modes: Adventure, Mini-Games, and Survival, each with its own pace and objectives. There are several types of enemies, and each requires a different approach. Hedgehogs attack in waves and can be fended off with whip strikes; bears are more dangerous—they devour mushrooms right in the clearing and require powerful blows or heavy weapons to defeat. Birds fly quickly and are therefore especially dangerous, and some of them carry useful items worth keeping an eye out for. Wooden crates and containers with supplies are scattered across the field; you can open them using weapons, bombs, or a special tool for breaking them open. There’s also a fun detail in the game involving a spider: if you chase it away, it will rain in the clearing, and mushrooms love rain—they start growing more actively afterward.
How to play?
Hold down the mouse button longer to deliver a more powerful whip strike against advancing enemies. Switch to machine guns, shotguns, bombs, and traps against tougher enemies like bears, but keep an eye on your ammo supply. Break open wooden crates and containers to find useful items, and watch out for birds—they fly fast and sometimes carry something valuable. Chase away the spider to summon rain and speed up the growth of new mushrooms in the clearing. Collect coins for successful defenses and spend them in the shop to upgrade your weapons, making it easier to fend off new waves of enemies.
