Winter Fishing 2 is a relaxing game about winter ice fishing, where every outing feels like a little adventure. The game features just 5 locations: Forest Harbor, Quiet Dawn, Cold Open Space, Northern Glow, and Snowy Peaks—each unlocked with coins and offering its own catch and atmosphere. The farther the location, the more valuable the fish and the more interesting the trophies. The atmosphere of cracking ice and unpredictable finds creates the feeling that a little secret might be hidden beneath every layer of ice. Progress is based on silver and experience: silver is used to upgrade fishing rods, buy side tables and amulets in the shop, while experience increases your level and unlocks skills with bonuses. Amulets are attached directly to the fishing rod and provide a boost to the value of the fish and your chances of catching them—their effect is visible right during the fishing session. Every fish you catch increases your rating and rank on the leaderboard of top anglers. If you catch a big trophy, tap the trophy button and post it—you’ll earn 50 silver for doing so. The main menu features quests, player stats, daily gifts, the shop, and the angler’s wheel, which you can spin every five minutes.

How to play?

Cast your line into the hole and wait for the bite signal. As soon as a fish bites, quickly tap the screen until the timer runs out. After catching a fish, decide whether to sell it for silver or release it for experience; both options affect your progress in their own way. Spend your silver in the shop to upgrade your gear and amulets, switch locations to increase the value of your catch, and level up your skills for extra perks. Complete quests and earn rewards, claim daily gifts, and don’t forget to spin the fisherman’s wheel every five minutes—all of this helps speed up your development and maintain steady progress. Aim for a high rank on the leaderboard and become a legend among fishermen.
