Elephant Below

The hero of the game “Elephant Below” has grown tired of his dreadful life in the circus and has decided to escape—now he’s diving into the depths of the ocean, searching for pearls in oyster shells among underwater caves and mazes. Each dive turns into a real test of dexterity and attentiveness, where you must collect all the shells on the level and safely reach the exit.

How to play?

Controls are based on the arrow keys; you guide the elephant’s trunk through the maze of the underwater cave, and the gameplay is largely reminiscent of the classic “Snake” game—it’s important to trace a continuous path without ever retracing your steps or getting yourself stuck in a dead end. There are twelve levels in total. In each one, the elephant stands in one of the cave’s corners, and your task is to guide its trunk so that you collect all the shells and reach the exit, which is guarded by a crab. The exit will only open once you’ve collected all the shells. Some areas are patrolled by fish, and you should approach them with extreme caution: if a fish bites the trunk, the elephant will die, and you’ll have to start the level over. However, if a fish crashes into the stationary trunk, it will die, so sometimes you can get the upper hand. A timer is displayed in the upper-right corner; if you don’t complete the task in time, you’ll also have to restart the level from the beginning.
