Phobi Jones

The game “Phobi Jones”—the hero of this game sets out to explore an ancient pyramid in the heart of the jungle to find a magical amulet. The passages are guarded by all sorts of creatures, and to get past them, the hero has to resort to good old-fashioned fear—after all, what kind of pyramid would it be without cunning traps, puzzles, and wild animals standing in the way? However, Jones—who’s always sporting a stylish hat—isn’t one to back down from a challenge, and he strikes true terror into the hearts of the jungle’s inhabitants using items from his trusty bag.

How to play?

The controls are simple: the arrow keys are used for movement and jumping, and the mouse is used to select and use items and animals from the bag. The main trick is to use animals’ common fears to your advantage—for example, elephants are afraid of mice, and bats are afraid of fire. By knowing these weaknesses, you can scare one creature away so it clears the path. If you don’t scare the animal away in time, it will attack you, and you’ll fail the level. To complete a level, you must collect all three map fragments; only then will the exit open. There are twenty-four levels in the game.
