Word Solitaire

On the table, a banana, a pear, and an orange sit beside a pirate flag, a poetry book, and a burger. In Word Solitaire, those mixed cards belong to named categories that you sort by association. One pile might place “Science” with the right group, while another links an astronaut’s helmet to a distant planet. It blends solitaire-style card removal with general knowledge and suits players who enjoy crosswords, fill-in puzzles, and card-based word games.

How to play?

The layout forms a scarf, with cards arranged in rows. Only the top cards are available at first. Remove covering cards to reveal the ones below. Golden category cards such as “Fruits,” “Space,” and “Sports” are central to each round. Move one into an empty slot, then place matching words and pictures with it. The “Fruits” set includes a banana, a pear, an apple, and an orange. Finish one full category. More cards appear, and the board empties bit by bit. If no moves remain, draw from the bonus deck for another possible match. Hints are available too. Free slots are limited, and only a few are available. At the top of the screen, track the level number, move count, and coins. The hint and restart buttons sit at the bottom. A level ends when no cards remain on the board. Finish all levels and sort every card into the right category.
