Bubble Words: Association
Embark on a journey through the world of words in “Bubble Words: Association.” The ocean floor is bathed in soft light, and rays of light pierce through the water, where corals sway gently. Dozens of bubbles rise from the seabed, and a word is hidden in each one: raspberry, waltz, Saturn, screwdriver, and others. You might think they have nothing in common. But the underwater world has its own rules, and connections emerge where you least expect them. Examining the bubbles, recalling which words are linked, and discovering interesting combinations will appeal to both children and adults. Group words by the correct associations, collect themes, and earn coins.
How to play?
Drag one bubble onto another, and if the words belong to the same theme, they’ll merge. When four words are gathered, the theme’s name will appear on the bubble, and it will float up to the progress bar. You’ll complete the level when you’ve collected all the themes. It’s easy to make a mistake: does “guitar” belong to “music” or “trees”? Is Mars a planet or the god of war? An incorrect match costs you a turn, and your remaining turns are displayed in the circle at the top of the screen. However, five correct matches in a row restore one turn. If you run out of turns, you can buy more and continue from where you left off. There’s no timer, so you can take your time thinking through each decision. In later levels, the puzzles become more challenging: the squid splits bubbles into two parts, some bubbles freeze, words appear split into two parts, and a collected theme can itself become a word within a larger theme. A counter appears on the squid and the frozen bubble, which decreases as you collect themes. When it reaches zero, the obstacle disappears. Three boosters at the bottom of the screen help you: “Extra Bubble” adds three new words to the board, “Hint” highlights two matching bubbles, and “Magnet” collects an entire theme. The boosters unlock at levels 3, 4, and 7, respectively. The game features over 5,000 themes and about 11,000 words, and once you’ve completed them all, you can continue playing in endless mode. Form thematic groups from words and solve puzzles by finding the right associations.
