Words and Mahjong

Pairs of word fragments cover the mahjong layout in Words and Mahjong. This word puzzle uses classic tile matching with a language twist, asking for linked halves that read as one noun. A full board stays on screen until every matching pair is removed. Singular-only nouns appear in singular form. Nouns with both forms appear as plurals. Progress remains saved between sessions, which makes it easy to leave and pick up the same board later.

How to play?

Scan the layout for two free tiles whose text completes one word, then remove that pair from the board. Only unblocked tiles are available for selection, which sets the rule for every move. Hint help is there when a matching pair is hard to spot. Continue pairing word tiles until no pieces remain on the field.
