Solitaire Letter

The “Solitaire Letter” puzzle looks like a traveler’s table after a long journey. Next to a straw hat lie an old map, fresh flowers, and a camera, while the letters are laid out on small cards, like souvenirs from faraway places. People bring back such items from vacation so they can later sort through them and recall where they’ve been. Here, instead of postcards, there are cards with letters, and the word you find feels like a little discovery you’ll want to add to your collection of memories. This solitaire game is a delight for both word lovers and those who are simply looking for a relaxing game to play for a couple of minutes.

How to play?

The letter cards are stacked in layers, with the top cards covering those beneath them. You tap the revealed letters on the table or draw the top card from the deck. Then, form a word from them and tap the “Submit” button. The used cards disappear, and new letters are revealed beneath them. Made a mistake? Reset the set, and the cards will return to their original positions. When you can’t see a suitable word, a hint, the deck, or one of the bonuses will come to your rescue. As soon as the board is empty, the level is complete. The tiles come in various shapes; some cards have locks on them, which can be removed by a card with a key—but only after you’ve submitted a word. The layouts feature wildcards and special objectives, and in timed levels, a timer starts. You earn points and stars for words, and there’s also a daily level. There are four bonuses in total: the wildcard replaces the desired letter, the hammer removes a troublesome card, shuffling swaps letters around, and “Best Word” automatically forms a high-scoring word. When a bonus runs out, you can replenish it, and extra cards help you continue playing. The tutorial introduces the rules gradually, and you can make as many retries as you like. In the “Letter Solitaire” settings, you can choose between a Russian or English dictionary. Customize the gameplay to your liking and enjoy every word you find as you correctly solve the letter solitaire puzzle.
