Words: Forgotten Expedition

An old diary had long lain unused. Its pages had turned yellow, and the last entries ended abruptly. Years passed, but no one ever remembered the people who set out over mountain passes toward flooded grottoes and misty forests. Now their path is open once again in the game “Words: Forgotten Expedition,” where the journey stretches from the first trails to the very edge of the map. Forgotten valleys, storm-tossed shores, and a solitary tower hold entire chapters of this story. Artifacts are hidden in chests: the Stone Key, the Sea Chart, and the Heart of Oxelan. Only the most knowledgeable player will be able to open these chests.

How to Play?

Travel along the routes of the forgotten expedition and gradually find words to solve puzzles and obtain keys to the chests. On the first level, a circle with letters appears before you. Connect them with your mouse or by swiping your finger to form words. Once all the necessary words have been found, you move on to the next chapter. Words not included in the challenge are also useful and add to your collection of bonus words. If you can’t find the answer, a hint will help you out, and you can rotate the circle to change the arrangement of the letters. For successfully completed levels, you’ll earn stars, coins, and hearts. Stars mark a perfect run, hearts let you continue on your journey, and coins can be spent in the expedition shop on hints, field supplies, and skins, such as the Lighthouse Captain. After completing the first eight levels, Chapter 2, “Mountain Pass,” unlocks, where the Seeker’s Compass awaits you. Each artifact is added to your collection only after you’ve fully completed a chapter. The map shows your progress through the chapters, the journal records your discoveries and rewards, and the objectives help you choose your next path. Completing the three-stage daily route earns you 50 coins, and the weekly expedition offers rare rewards. Up to 12 friends can join you as companions. Once the main route is complete, the endless expedition begins. Find words and uncover the secrets of the forgotten expedition.
