Artem returns to his childhood courtyard and almost immediately realizes something is wrong. In Dogs Don't Bark at the Living, neighbors avoid his gaze, the same phrase repeats from a TV behind the wall, old graffiti on garage 17-B flakes away, and the dogs go silent when he comes near. The courtyard seems to remember what he has tried to forget. Across a prologue and four chapters, pieces of the past rise through his memory and slowly form a truth with no easy way out.
