"Dogs Don’t Bark at the Living" is a psychological horror game in the visual novel format, where Artem returns to his childhood courtyard and realizes almost immediately that something is wrong here. Neighbors avert their eyes; the same phrase plays on repeat from the TV behind the wall; old graffiti on the garage at 17-B is peeling away; and the dogs fall silent as he approaches. It’s as if the courtyard remembers what the boy himself has been trying to forget. Through the prologue and four chapters, the past begins to rise from the depths of memory, and the gathered fragments gradually come together to form a truth from which there’s no easy escape.

How to Play?

Read the story and tap the screen to advance to the next lines and scenes. Make choices at key moments. They lead to one of three endings—turn away, remember, or open the door. Talk to characters who are still keeping secrets, collect fragments of memories, and pay attention to details in the courtyard—because even a strange phrase, a fragment of a drawing, or the silence of the dogs might be part of the solution. In the settings, you can enable auto-scroll and select a language; optional memories unlock effortlessly, and your progress and endings are saved to the cloud so you can continue playing on another device.
