Broken-Heart Detective is an anime visual novel about investigating school romances, where ordinary breakups reveal more than teenage drama. The story begins with Momose Chiyoda, a mysterious underclassman who calls herself a broken-heart detective. Alongside her, unravel stories of unlucky love, hear confessions, search for clues, and uncover what lies behind jealousy, silence, lies, and words left unsaid. As Momose solves more cases, her own secret begins to surface. Why is she so sure that love ends in pain sooner or later?

Read each conversation closely. At certain points in the dialogue, answer a question or choose an action. Pick the response that fits the situation best. Your choices change how events unfold and reveal the relationships between characters across different storylines. During each investigation, listen to the students, spot contradictions, bring buried feelings to the surface, and piece together the details behind each breakup. Every case uncovers another broken heart, and your decisions also reveal more about Momose herself.
