New Tic-Tac-Toe

Everyone is familiar with tic-tac-toe from their school notebooks: recess, graph paper, and the classmate who always goes first. “New Tic-Tac-Toe” brings this classic game back to the screen, so you can play a round on the go, while waiting in line, or during a spare moment. The familiar Xs and Os are still there, but the game has taken on a new character, once again challenging you to outwit your opponent, calculate your moves, and argue over who made a mistake. Just one game is enough to remind you why these squares have endured for generations.

How to play?

First, you choose an opponent—it can be a bot or a friend. Then you set the board size: 3x3 is good for quick games, while 4x4 and 5x5 are harder to win but offer greater rewards. The final choice is the game mode. In Classic mode, the board gradually fills up, and any move could be the decisive one. In Disappearance mode, only a limited number of pieces remain on the board; therefore, if the limit is exceeded, your oldest move disappears automatically, and a line you’re close to completing can fall apart in a single move. Next, you take turns tapping on empty squares and placing your symbol, X or O. The first player to form an unbroken line of their symbols vertically, horizontally, or diagonally wins. You earn trophies for victories and climb the leaderboard, so after your first game, you’ll usually want to play another right away.
