Earthrealm's toughest warriors enter a brutal tournament. SNES: Mortal Kombat II (V1.1) pits seasoned fighters against a stacked roster, with Shao Kahn and Kintaro waiting at the end of the bracket for the one contender who survives every duel and claims the champion's crown.

How to play?

Select a fighter and enter the first match, then drain the rival's health bar with punches, kicks, and jumping strikes before the round slips away. A match ends only after two rounds of wins, which means one early victory doesn't finish the duel, and the opponent can still even the score in the next exchange. After a loss, spend one of nine extra lives to rejoin the tournament, then pick a different combatant if a new move set fits the next bout better.
