Super Nintendo: Super Mario Kart

Weekend kart racing pulls Mario and his crew out for a head-to-head ride in Super Nintendo: Super Mario Kart. Tiny four-wheel karts zip around the circuit as Mario, Luigi, Princess, Yoshi, and the rest of the cast chase first place. The screen stays split during the race. One half tracks the driver on the course, and the other shows a map of the action behind the kart.

How to play?

Pick a racer, then push the kart harder on the straightaways. Drift too wide in a bend, and the kart slips off the road, costing position. Scoop up coins lying on the track for a race bonus. Rival contact knocks coins away. Drive through question-mark boxes to pull a random item. Some item rolls boost speed. Another reward adds extra money after the race.
