The basic rules are as follows. The playing field is 9 by 9 and consists of 81 cells in total. You have to fill all cells with letters or numbers. Make it so that in one column, row or mini block of 3x3, no letter or digit is repeated. This is the basic rule on the basis of which you need to learn to play and solve all Sudoku.

Simply start the game and pick up the numbers or letters in each empty cell in turn. Check the columns, lines and mini-blocks for the same numbers or letters; if they are there, you can't put the same number or letter. Even if you make a wrong choice, you will notice your mistake later and can easily correct it.
