Sonic Advance 2

Dash through side-scrolling stages, chase rings, and finish runs under tight time limits in Sonic Advance 2. This Sonic the Hedgehog platform game on Game Boy Advance adds new speed routes plus extra playable heroes from the Sonic series.

Cream the Rabbit joins the roster here, together with her Chao friend Cheese. The release improves on the first Sonic Advance with smoother performance, more detailed animations, and new music tracks. Dr. Eggman returns with another scheme, and clearing activities in under two minutes rewards you with extra points for your final tally. Push for quick stage completion, stack gold rings, and unlock more characters as you progress through the campaign.

How to play?

Enter your name before the first run. Press the Z key to move through letters on the name entry screen and confirm your choice. Then pick a currently available character from the roster. Run along the level and pick up gold rings that hang in the air or sit on your path. Reach 100 rings to earn one extra life, which keeps you in the game after losing a run. Finish stages as fast as you can to gain larger time bonuses on the results screen.
