Phantasy Star 4

Desert winds cover much of Motavia. A thousand years before Era III, the Great Collapse left the planet's climate system broken, stripping a once-lively world back to sand and making daily life harsh. Human mutations spread alongside the environmental damage, and monsters with human origins began roaming the land. Hunters track these beings for capture, and the trail in Phantasy Star 4 leads through Piata with Alys, her young apprentice Chaz, and the jobs that pull them into a larger conflict.

How to play?

Recruit party members and move into menu-based battles against the mutated creatures. Pick attacks and magic spells for each round, then watch the order play out under each hero's stats. Equip every character with gear tied to that person, improving battle performance as the group gains experience. Build the full team, raise the whole roster, and press deeper into fights across Motavia.
