Gunstar Heroes

Smoke hangs over a village under attack. In Gunstar Heroes, a side-scrolling run-and-gun blastout sends soldiers and monsters pouring in from every direction. Close-range scuffles break up the gunfire, with bandits getting hurled across the screen during the melee. Half-dimensional stages shift the action into layered paths, giving the whole battle a striking arcade look. Points pile up through the assault, and a bonus payout waits after each stage ends.

How to play?

Shoot through enemy waves and throw nearby bandits before they crowd the path. The health bar drains under fire. Empty it, and the run ends. Rack up as many points as possible during each stage. End-of-level bonuses come from that score total.
